Congratulations! All Graduates, you reached this milestone, you make us so proud, and you are starting on a new journey and will be achieving even greater success.
Congratulations! Our Boxwood Public School and all Staff! As a result of your hard work and dedication, our Graduates have achieved such progress and success. It is an honor to represent School Council and parents today, to express our gratitude and appreciation with our highest respect. We will also never forget the warmth and care we received from school over the past years.
I believe as parents, we all have also made progress, because we grow together with our children. Today I would like to share a few reflections that I hope the Grade 8s will also keep with them.
I have realized the importance of cultural competence in an inclusive environment. It requires self-awareness of our own limitations, it encourages continuous learning about different worldviews, and it demands adaptable communication skills. We are very fortunate that we and our children live in such a diverse community, which is full of unlimited potential.
I have also realized that we have far more in common than we are different. Only by embracing diversity can we unite our strengths and transform differences into unity. Throughout my time with School Council since 2021, I have learned a lot from the school, from different parents, different cultures, and from different philosophies. This diversity, when brought together, formed the foundation of success.
Finally, I have realized that there are historical missions on the shoulders of each of us. It is my opinion that the core competencies that our students firmly possess today will truly determine the core competitiveness that Canada will have in the future.
Canada's increasingly clear core competitiveness will guide our educational goals to be more specific. Let us learn and reflect together, let us grow with our children together, and let us witness the miracles through our hard work together! Let us become lifelong learners, thinkers and contributors.
Wishing all the Graduates bright futures. Wishing the school greater success. And wishing every family greater happiness and fulfillment.

In the first day of kindergarten, parents must have wondered what our little ones would be like when they grow up. Today, the little ones are already at their Graduation Ceremony! Parents, you are great writers and you have already given the most perfect answers.
Graduates are so excellent! Parents, also congratulations on your success! Mahatma Gandhi told us: “The best education is by example!”
Graduates are going on a new journey, and parents will also face new challenges. Ali Ibn Abi Thalib said: “The best form of worship is the pursuit of knowledge…Knowledge is a treasure, and the practice of knowledge is the key to it.” Parents and children always learn together and make progress together.
In ancient China, Confucius had a most used encouragement to his students, and the same goes for parents, which is: “The universe goes on and on, and people should imitate heaven and earth and go on and on forever.”
Parents, it’s very great to have you here! You are part of your children’s success today, and tomorrow, you will continue to guide them to their next success! Parents’ love is the foundation of children’s lives, and the love will also go on and on forever! Congratulations!
